The Kitchen will be closed from Monday, September 10th through Monday, October15th, starting again on Tuesday, October 16th.

This past April we researched the STYC property title, including recorded easements, and found that there are no easements or restrictions having to do with the present boat ramp which is on club property. The ramp is, in fact, private and there is no requirement to provide public access to it. Therefore, future use of the ramp will be restricted to STYC members only during normal hours of club operation. If a member requires use of the ramp after hours please notify the manager or assistant manager in advance and make arrangements for access.

Due to the need to provide improved security for the club, its member and property the driveway chain will be locked each evening after club closing around 7:30 p.m. (except for events and activities necessitatinglater closing) and opened at 7:30 a.m. each morning. If any member needs vehicular access to or from the club during the closed period, please contact the manager or assistant manager to make arrangements in advance."

VCP Women's Regatta

The 15 annual regatta will be held on November 15 - 18, 2001.
If you are interested in volunteering a meeting is scheduled on Tuesday August 28, 6:00pm at the club.

Finance Committee

In the July Log you were given detailed information regarding a robbery that took place at the Club House. STYC is still offering a $1,000 REWARD for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the robber(s). If you have any information about the robbery please pass it on to a member of the Executive Committee (Philip Brady, Bill Shoemaker, Bob Cockayne, Tammy Waters, Phyllis Brown or Ruth Miller).
