Hi Everyone:

Meet at the pro shop Friday at 6:00 PM for a talk with Peter and Henry about an hour 1/2 long.

Come Saturday and Sunday at 9:00 AM to get the boats ready. There will be short talks each morning before you go out.

If you can pair up with a skipper or crew before hand, that's best, but you can just come by yourself.

IC 24's Hoping to get about 8-12 adult sailors out and get two IC 24's going

420s will be used, without spinnakers.

The time we stop each day will depend on how many sailors we have.

The format will be that of a real match racing regatta, but there will be short talks on shore before going out to do the practice races. The umpires will both make the calls on fouls and will also coach you while you are racing, so this is not a serious regatta whose purpose is to determine the best novice match racers here. I encourage everyone to take this opportunity to learn the basics of match racing.

Please let me know today if you are attending this match racing clinic. It will help us to plan the meals and make sure we have a space big enough for the Friday night talk with Peter.

If we do not have too many people, lunches will be served on a normal basis with sailors just ordering before you go out to race. If we have so many sailors that this is not practical, we will have to make other arrangements, so we want a good idea of our numbers before hand.
